Notes: Knew WT1S @ K1MNS would on and gunning for us. They closed the
gap from 500K to nearly 100K during the Saturday NCAA college
Basket-ball Semi-Finals. Had to turn the TV off to prevent
falling behind!
Several OPS not happy! (Happier not to lose, though!)
40M-Great condx from sunset for almost 2 hours. Many EU stns
PEGGING the S-meter ! Heard 3V8BB - No QSX!
20M-Very tough going. Used high antenna nearly ALL weekend.
JA's Saturday night were great. Also exciting last 2 hours into
Asia. My first use of an 870-Too easy to adjust to NOT HEAR
GUYS! I thought it was going to be better than it was......
80M-Couldn't hear Don N5OLS/KH8...Thanks for going!
15M-Europeans were spotty, but nice surprise. Africans worked up
to 2 hours after their sunset with Dave's NEW 8 element Telrex.
Had one African who was S5 say that we were 30db over S9!

With the new station build at my new home, this was the last Multi-Op
before becoming a "struggling Single Op from home" !
Dave-Thanks for everything!
All were ready before the start, but I was working! leaving NJ for a CT
customer stop, then home (near Providence) to get more clothes and drive
to Dave's! Got there just before 0400z but was too tired to even TRY to
get thru til morning! The KI team using KG1D was already several hundred
QSOs ahead too! We changed gears and had fun! All slept as needed and
enjoyed what good prop was noted.
CT1BOH called in on 10M Sunday morning!
W1MJ worked his first Mongolian and his second and his third........
Then got DUPED by one !! I have photographib evidence that one
of New England's QRPers blew up an ALPHA 77 !!!!
Added beverages to the 20M second station and that helped.
Packet spotting quality literally SUCKED! The worst busted spot was
> S52P for HH2PK !
We joked about going over to KI's to help break the USA 10.87Meg record....
That was set by WX3N,KR0Y,KM9P and maybe KKN at K4VX using his wife Terry's
call NS0Z.

First attempt at a multi-op RTTY contest. Had a lot of fun. Didn't
operate the whole time, but we had fun. As of the most rescent claimed
scores, looks like we were #1 in US for the Multi-Op Low Power category,
and possibly also for North America. This category is very interesting,
and I enjoyed the challenge. Mostly S&P although there were a few EU
and US runs. Very nice to have US stations count for points. Hope to
see everyone next year.
